Introducing the Beaba Babycook

Let us preface this post by stating that we know what new or expecting Moms + Dads may be thinking when you see this - "Not another gadget for my kitchen!" And you may skip along in the blog to see our next product review - But let us asure you that you are going to LOVE the Beaba Babycook.

The BabyCook allows you to make your own healthy food for your baby - so skip the bottled premade jars from the grocery store, or at least substitute some pre-made every so often, with your own healthy organic food.

The first and foremost best thing about this machine is that it allows us to make our own baby food, so we know what is going into the meal that our child is eating. Today we asked on Random.org that a random number between 1-200 be given. The number that would be generated, would be the winning number. Easy as pie. Well - it took a few tries - Try # 1, the number that Random.org gave us no one had picked! So we tried, again, and again, and on the 4th try, YIPPEEE! We got a winner. :) We've contacted the winner. If the prize hasn't been claimed by July 9th, we will redraw a new name/number. Our July Blog Contest is being announced shortly!

When you come into Dear-Born Baby, one thing that our customers love us for is our Nursery room designs that we have set up. One of our favourites is a modern nursery look, which is SUPER easy to achieve. The term modern changes with time, as modern today, will be much different than modern tomorrow, however the underlying denominator of a modern look we feel is clean lines, and pops of colour.

We love the Oeuf Crib, or a Stokke Crib as a starting point for a room. The natural colour of the Stokke, or the gray of the Oeuf are perfect, perfect, and even more perfect for this look. The nice thing about the look of these cribs is that should you change the look of your nursery for baby # 2 perhaps, these cribs easily blend into other decors as well.

Next, why not pick a soft soothing pallet of light gray, or a neutral for the walls, but pick a fun accent wall for a pop of pure, energizing colour.
